
TSO Oral Suspension
Swine: For the treatment and control of diseases sensitive to trimethoprim/sulfadiazine in pigs, in particular the respiratory disease complex.
Chickens: For the treatment and control of diseases sensitive to trimethoprim/sulfadiazine in chickens, in particular enteric and respiratory bacterial infections.
Sulphamethaxazole (as sodium): 400 mg/ml
Trimethoprim: 80 mg/ml
Oral administration through drinking water.
1 liter per 500 gallons of drinking water for 5 consecutive days. Swine: The recommended dose is 15 mg combined actives/kg bodyweight. This is equivalent to 0.03125 ml of the product/kg bodyweight daily. Feed for 5 consecutive days.
Chickens: The recommended dose is 30 mg combined actives/kg bodyweight daily. This is equivalent to 0.0625ml of the product/kg bodyweight daily. Feed for 5 to 10 consecutive days. Treatment must not be continued for more than 5 days.
Animals and birds must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment.
Pigs may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 10 days from the last treatment.
Chickens may be slaughtered for human consumption only after 5 days from the last treatment. Not to be used in chickens producing eggs for human consumption.
Store in room temperature (below 30°C)
SHELF LIFE : 24 months from the date of manufacture. Finish treatment within 24 hours after first opened of container. To be consume with 12 hours after dilution.
Sulphonamides may cause hypersensitivity (allergy) following injection, inhalation, ingestion or skin contact. Hypersensitivity to sulphonamides may lead to cross reactions with other antibiotics. Allergic reactions to these substances may occasionally be serious. Do not handle this product if you know you are sensitive to sulphonamides. If you develop symptoms following exposure such as a skin rash, you should seek medical advice and show the doctor this warning. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Wash hands after use. If contact occurs, wash affected area with copious amounts of water.
